Who We Are
The website was started by two friends, Christy and Sarah, who met several years ago and instantly bonded over our love of theatre. We'd been seeing Broadway and Off-Broadway shows on our own and, once we met each other, quickly became theatre buddies. We are not "theater people" (that is, we do not have any formal professional experience in the theater), we are mere mortals who have a great affinity for the dramatic arts. We lived together in Manhattan (on a budget) and discovered a lot of the ins and outs of discount theater tickets and the sometimes lesser-known methods of buying affordable tickets. We started this website to share all that we have learned with you! Sadly, Christy moved away from New York, but Sarah is still keeping the website running. We hope it helps!

As students with limited funds, we were always on the lookout to find and make use of the ways in which New York Theatre institutions make tickets available at more affordable costs. We've developed this website to share our discoveries with others, so that they might be able to take advantage of the discount offers available and enjoy the magic of the theater without breaking the bank!
